Community Volunteer Application

To be filled out by community volunteers. (Not for employees or students of WWU.)

You will also need to complete a quick 5-minute interview either in person or through a Zoom

call prior to volunteering. Someone will reach out after you have submitted your application.

All SEA Discovery Center volunteers must complete a Criminal Conviction Form. A link will

be sent to you.

Section 3 - Photo/Video Release

give permission to Western Washington University to use photographic

images and video footage of or by me in its public information activities and advertising without compensation to me.

This would include use in university publications, slideshows, videos, electronic and Internet media and the university's website. At the discretion of Western Washington University, use also could include making the photographs and video footage available to non-university organizations, such as newspapers, magazines, television stations, blogs, media-sharing websites and other providers of media content, in order to illustrate articles about the university or promote university activities.

This permission is granted for an indefinite time period. I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the terms of this release.
